I'm alive!

So its been long time since the last journal update here...

The nightclub that I was working at as a DJ (and some other things) was closed down in early spring of this year... though the punk xmas show (mentioned in previous entry) was a blast...

So now its August and I'm the Assistant Operations Manager (and some other things) for a new nightclub that will be opening in a few weeks... "Pandemic Nightclub" is the name and we have been down there almost every night since late July, with a bunch of volunteers, getting the place ready.

On another front, I've been working on websites like crazy... I'm also still working the 9-5er in a tech support office (where I do most of my pixel art), and enjoying time with my son as often as possible... he's now 4 years old (looks about 6) and will be starting JK shortly... time certainly flys...

When I get a chance I'm going to upload a bunch of unused things I've made since, well, they're unused...

DeviantMobile is a great service but it is evil. It is evil because I really want to put just about every good looking piece of art on my phone even though I can only display one at any given time. It is also evil because I noticed that on certain computers, the 'finished' button works only 20% of the time. Though I must say that it is a great concept and so far it has worked enough for me to put a few wallpapers on my phone, including a zombie one. yeay.

DA is also rocking with this '1 week subscription' thing going on. I'm browsing 120 thumbs per page and my deviantion inbox is so much easier to sort through now that I can see large thumbs in it.

Must definitly get myself a subscription *writes it down on the list of things-I-cannot-afford-but-still-want*
